Our R & D center has been an integral part of the company since the
outset and it is the brain team that drives us towards achieving our
mission and vision.
We conduct continuous research and development in order to offer our
customers better materials and more innovative solutions. Our sales,
production, and product and process development departments work in
close cooperation with our customers' own product development and
production functions.
Substantial expertise in polymer and surface chemistry is concentrated
in our product and process development department. Our measuring and
analyzing devices are in keeping with the same high standard.
Staffs of approximately 60 persons work in the R&D department. Our
goal is to develop products, which allow our customers to speed up
their own production processes, reduce waste, and offer better solutions
to end-users.
Since 2001, Nonwovens Industry City of China, Nonwovens R&D Center
of China, Nonwovens Technology and Development Center of Asia, as
well as the first Postdoctoral Nonwovens Research Center and Nonwovens
Engineering and Technology Center of China have been designated at
Xinlong Nonwovens. Xinlong has obtained four projects from the National
Key New/High Tech Enterprise of Torch Programme, four projects from
National Key New/High Tech Programme, tens of patents of nation wide,
and two patents in several western countries. Having this proprietary
high-tech, value-added production technologies and patented products,
Xinlong Nonwovens enjoys higher and higher reputation in nonwovens
industry both at home and abroad. Consequently, Xinlong will be greatly
prompted and accelerated for its continuous development in the future.
| The Postdoctoral Research Programme |
The Postdoctoral Research Programme has become a key element of the
corporate research and development effort for Xinlong Nonwovens. For
a growing demand of technology advancement, it has marked a special
opportunity to further knowledge and expertise, contribute to new
advances and discoveries, and gain new insights and friendships. Ever
since its establishment in 2001, Postdoctoral Fellows have participated
in this program from several universities of china. Each year, one
or two new participants join in the program. Applications are invited
from researchers who have or will have obtained a degree of Ph.D.
or M.D. by the time of their entry into the program.
